"Do i need to register?" The short answer- it depends. Aesthetic clinics tend to offer a wide range of treatments- of which, only some may fall under the scope of The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. CQC has produced guidance on regulated activities and who needs to register. Generally, if you are a Registered Healthcare Professional (or are an organisation planning to recruit Registered Healthcare Professionals), offering to treat a disease, disorder or injury, or plan to offer surgical procedures, or diagnose, then it is likely you will need to register. Remember, you must not begin offering any regulated activities until you are registered, i.e. you cannot provide any regulated activities before or during your registration application process.
Prestige Compliance is here to guide you throughout the process. The application itself maybe time consuming, but we don't pretend to invent anything new! We just make it easier by offering our wealth of experience when it comes to CQC New Provider applications. We believe it is important you understand each stage and are also prepared to maintain compliance post-registration.
Are you looking into CQC Registration? Or perhaps CQC Compliance is causing a business “headache”? Just making an enquiry is your first step. You will understand the requirements for an application to then make a decision on how you proceed. The breakdown aims to equip you with sufficient information to choose between completing the application yourself, or having the level of support that suits your needs.
